Our first article on a tornado in China. A tornado was caught on camera in Heilongjiang Province, China this past Saturday.
At this time, it’s unclear who captured the footage in the above video. However, the video was posted by Twitter user @CyanideCN. You can read the caption for the Twitter uploaded video below.
“The tornado occurred on May 14th in Heilongjiang Province was rated EF1”

According to storm chaser Eric Wang, the tornado caused minor damage. No injuries or deaths have been reported. You can read Wang’s tweet (including more photos) below:
“A brief tornado was confirmed by local office in Wuchang, Heilongjiang Province this afternoon. Minor damage including roofs been lift was observed, so far no injuries or fatalities reported.”
