We absolutely love to write about classic tornado footage! Watch the moment a F5 tornado narrowly misses a Texas prison in the video below. 

The prison in the video is the Jordan Unit Prison near Hoover, TX. 

The footage in the above video was captured by Prairie Pictures’ StormStock founder Martin Lisius. You can read the description for the YouTube uploaded video below. 

“Following the tornado that struck Pampa, Texas on June 8, 1995, a second and larger tornado develops just outside own and tracks northeast toward Hoover. Prairie Pictures’ StormStock founder Martin Lisius captured this F5 monster as it narrowly missed the Jordan Unit Prison. This tornado was so powerful, it stripped asphalt from local highways.”
