Stay tuned for further updates. A funnel cloud was caught on camera near Dexter, Kansas yesterday.

The above photo was captured by storm chaser Tony Laubach. However, it was brought to our attention by KAKE TV and Fox Kansas managing meteorologist Jay Prater. You can read the description for the Twitter posted photo below.

“Former KAKE Meteorologist, now AccuWeather’s @TonyLaubach captured this weak, brief tornado near Dexter, KS earlier tonight. #KSWX”

Jay Prater (@JayPraterKAKE)

Because of the photo’s quality, we couldn’t see whether it had a debris cloud. Stay tuned for confirmation from the National Weather Service.

“Because I couldn’t see if it touched the ground, I have dubbed this a funnel cloud. Stay tuned for more!”
