Tornado caught on camera near Morton, Texas yesterday (UPDATE)

Original article: Stay tuned for further updates. A tornado was caught on camera near Morton, Texas yesterday.

The incredible footage in the above video was captured by storm chaser Marcus Diaz. However, Storyful (video licensing company) uploaded the video on their YouTube channel. You can read the description for the YouTube uploaded video below.

“A storm chaser was treated to a once-in-a-lifetime experience of filming a massive tornado that swept through north of Morton, Texas, on May 23rd. Marcus Diaz filmed a video that shows a tornado spinning on the ground with lightning flashing the background on Monday. 

“Get Closer,” Diaz says in the video and then drives closer towards the tornado. He wrote in a Twitter comment that it was a “a once-in-a-lifetime-intercept.”

Thankfully, it stayed in the open plains (lookalike of the 2010 Bowdle, South Dakota tornado). You can find more videos and photos of the tornado below.
