Parts of the barn sustained significant damage. Watch the moment a tornado damages a farmstead in Tipton, Kansas in the video below. 

The footage in the above video was captured by storm chaser Skip Talbot. You can read the description for the YouTube uploaded video below. 

“Three teams of chasers track a series of tornadoes on a science mission to study ground level tornado wind fields. Footage includes a dramatic close encounter with the May 28th, 2019 Tipton, Kansas tornado as it damages a farmstead. Featuring Pecos Hank Schyma, photographer Jennifer Brindley Ubl, and scientist researchers Dr. Anton Seimon and Dr. Tracie Seimon.”

As mentioned in the above description, the tornado occurred on the 28th May, 2019. More videos of this tornado can be found below.

The tornado was rated EF-2 (with estimated peak wind speeds of 118 miles per hour). The length of this tornado’s path was 22 miles, according to the National Weather Service in Hastings, Nebraska.
