Impressive close up video! Watch the moment a tornado violently obliterates a home in Katie, Oklahoma in the video below. 

The incredible footage in the above video was captured by a Tornado Trackers crew member (Jeff Magnum, Jeremy Hamann, and Gabe Cox). You can read the description for the YouTube uploaded video below.

“Insane close range video of the tornado tearing through Katie, Oklahoma. The video shows debris being lofted at extreme heights and also shows up close footage of a home being obliterated with power poles being snatched out of the ground. Some of the most impressive tornado footage EVER!”

The tornado in the above video occurred on the 9th May, 2016, 6 years ago next month. More videos of the 2016 violent tornado can be found below. 

The tornado was rated EF-4 (with wind speeds of up to 200 miles per hour). The length of this tornado’s path was 9 miles, according to the National Weather Service in Norman, OK. Sadly, this tornado killed 1 person.
