Tornado caught on camera in Oberlin, Kansas yesterday

Stay tuned for further updates. A tornado was caught on camera in Oberlin, Kansas yesterday.

The impressive footage in the above video was captured by storm chaser Kyle Cutler. He posted the video on his Twitter account. You can read the blurb for the Twitter uploaded video below. 

“Anticyclonic tornado in Oberlin, KS. Could easily see the suction vortices dancing around the perimeter.”

As mentioned in the above blurb, the tornado was anticyclonic. For those that don’t know, anticyclonic means the tornado rotated clockwise and not counterclockwise. 

Typically, tornadoes in the northern hemisphere rotate counterclockwise. You can watch another video of this rare type of tornado below.
