Brought to our attention by Inside Edition. A reporter’s panic was recently caught on hot mic during a live feed of tornado coverage.
The tornado being covered touched down near Gilmore City, Iowa this past Tuesday.
Once they saw the tornado touch down, KCCI-TV meteorologist Evan Bunkers and his colleague, Beau, were told to hightail it out of there because their co-workers back at the news station said the tornado seemed like it was headed their way.
Evan’s mic was still live and viewers could hear him beg Beau to drive faster. Listen to Bunkers talk to Inside Edition’s Mara Montalbano in the video below.
